A rule source is scoped to its organization and audit case. It is not available to another customer or a global rule engine.
Customer-provided NCCI, state bureau, carrier, regulatory, classification, rating, and endorsement documents are used only for the audit review that received them.

The original file is encrypted while it is needed, then automatically deleted after successful or failed analysis. Delete Now is available sooner.
Customer rule documents, extracted text, embeddings, and summaries are not added to a shared rule library, RAG index, analytics dataset, or model-training set.
After deletion, RateRecon may retain the finding, financial impact, verification status, source name, effective date, page or section locator, and a metadata-only audit event. It does not need the original PDF to keep the finding record usable.
If you later choose Recheck Finding, the deleted source cannot be recovered from RateRecon. Upload the applicable rule document again for a new temporary analysis.
Normal staff and administrators do not get a general rule-document browser. Any exceptional support or security access must be explicitly permission-controlled and logged. The current pilot uses local PDF text extraction and an external-processing placeholder that is not enabled in demo mode; production must disclose and configure any third-party OCR or AI processing before it is used.
Only upload rule material that your organization is allowed to use for this review. RateRecon does not provide legal, tax, classification, or binding coverage advice.
